Calynq ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted scheduling tools that connect to your calendar providers (such as Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Calynq's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our use of information received from Microsoft Graph follows Microsoft's applicable policies.
Calynq requests only the Google Calendar access it needs:
We use this data only to provide and improve the user-facing scheduling features described above. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or to comply with the law.
We share data only with infrastructure providers (e.g., Supabase for database/auth, an email delivery provider, a messaging provider (Twilio) used to deliver text and WhatsApp messages, and an AI provider used for scheduling features) under contracts that require appropriate protection. The AI provider receives (a) calculated meeting times, such as proposed or available time slots and counts of available and conflicting participants, used to rank options and write short explanations, and (b) text you type or dictate, such as a voice description of a meeting or booking preferences, which can include titles, participant names and email addresses. We do not send your Google event titles, descriptions or attendees to the AI provider; Calynq does not read them. We do not sell personal data.
Calynq, operated by Guuz Consulting Services Inc, can send text (SMS) and WhatsApp messages about a booking when you choose to receive them. On a booking page you can tick an unchecked box to agree to receive messages about that booking at the mobile number you enter. We use your mobile number to send those messages. Your booking details (service, date and time, host name, and a join link where there is one) and your mobile number are also used to create and manage the booking itself, and are visible to the host you book with. Hosts who use Calynq can also choose to receive text alerts about their own bookings.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and opt-in consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number and opt-in choice are stored with our infrastructure providers (such as Supabase), are visible to the host you book with, and are shared with our messaging provider (Twilio) only so that your booking messages can be delivered.
We retain account and calendar-link data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a calendar from the Calendars page, we delete that connection, including its stored access and refresh tokens, and stop reading from it. You can also delete your account to remove associated data. Audit and usage records are deleted automatically after a limited period.
